Egle Silko Medusa Earrings | Silver

A pair of sterling silver earrings, crafted by New Maker Egle Silko. The metal is melted into loose, organic shapes, then rolled and intentionally fractured to create a tactile surface. Each earring carries subtle variations, with tool indentations left visible as marks of the making process.

Based in Tallinn, Estonia, Egle draws inspiration from natural Nordic landscapes and the inherent fluidity of her material. She uses reticulation and freehand melting techniques to form distinctive textures.

This item is part of our New Makers programme. In its eighth year, five makers demonstrating excellence in skill, originality and craftsmanship have been chosen by a TOAST panel.
